I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at King Khalid University. My research focuses on distributed systems, large-scale databases, and the intersection of systems and machine learning. I am interested in building reliable, scalable, and efficient infrastructure for data-intensive applications.
Before joining King Khalid University, I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University at Buffalo, SUNY, and my M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut. I also completed postdoctoral research appointments at the University at Buffalo and the University of Utah, where I worked on distributed databases, cloud systems, and federated learning.
I am currently recruiting motivated graduate students interested in distributed systems, distributed databases, cloud computing, federated learning, and artificial intelligence.
